About the Journal

​​Journal of the Medical Women’s Association of Nigeria (MWAN), a publication of the Medical Women’s Association of Nigeria, is a peer-reviewed, English language print + online semi-annual journal that was established in 2004. The journal allows free access (Open Access) to its contents. It permits authors to self-archive the final accepted version of the articles in any Open Archives Initiative (OAI)--compliant institutional / subject-based repository. The journal will cover technical and clinical studies related to health, ethical, and social issues in the field of journals designed to meet the continuing educational needs of medical practitioners in Nigeria.
